I've been heavily into collecting, buying, and selling records for the past 40 years, with a huge focus on beat, psych, progressive, folk, and imports. I'm now selling my personal collection.
I had a small collector's boutique upstairs at Brass City Records in Waterbury, CT for the last ten years. I spent countless hours tracking down, and buying collections from importers, record store managers, and industry employees. ITEM - THE BEATLES Capitol 33 rpm Compact JUKEBOX EP- "Something New" (1964 USA Capitol SXA-2108), MEGA RARE JUKEBOX EP! A DESIRABLE ITEM. (condition disc only, no cover), VG+. Vinyl has great shine and lustre, just some light paper whips. Play tested a great EX+ with some light non detracting background noise on quite passages on a Bang & Olufsen Beogram RX-2 turntable. NOTE! PLEASE KNOW THIS BEFORE BIDDING there is a noticeable pop at approximately 1:20 of S1 track 3, "Slowdown". I can not see any problems with the vinyl, so it is most likely a pressing defect. Capitol Rainbow labels are in super EX+/EX+ shape (Please eBay's scan tool to review labels)Dead wax stampers are SXA-1-2108-A1/ SXA-2-2108-A1. A gem of a find. PLEASE, read the following description closely. I want all of my customers to be happy with their purchases. AGAIN, there is a pressing defect that I can not spot visually on S1. It occurs on track 3 at 1:20. There is a noticeable pop for one rotation, a light pop for a second rotation, and then normal play. The disc was play tested numerous times on my Bang & Olufsen Beogram RX-2 turntable, and did not skip once. MEANING, depending on how you weight your turntable's tonearm, the "pop" on my Bang & Olufsen RX-2, may be "skip" on your unit. PLEASE think carefully before bidding. Thank you again.
