Description

Up for auction is a copy of The Beatles Christmas Album, a fanclub release from 1970. This is a US pressing on the apple label cat no SBC 100. This album has been booted many times, and I’m not sure if this is a real one or a repro. I have owned it since the early 1990s. It has full-colour Apple labels; both sides have “Bell Sound” “SF” and a Winchester rifle etched/stamped into the dead wax, along with the matrix numbers SBC 100A/B. The cover printing looks detailed to me, but can’t be sure. If it is a repro (which I suspect it may be), it’s a damn good one. Caveat emptor.

Condition: a couple of minor marks to the vinyl, not affecting play. I understand the record was mastered from the original flexidiscs, rather than tapes, so it never sounded particularly hi-fi. Cover has a few minor creases, but no writing, tears or splits. Easily VG+ all round.

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence! Any questions? Need any more photos or an audio sample? I'm only an email away.

Payment: UK- bank transfer (preferred) or Paypal. Rest Of World- Paypal. Email for other accepted methods of payment. Shipping: £4.50 (UK 1st class), £5.50 (UK recorded), £7.50 (Europe) £10 (rest of world-airmail). Check my other auctions; combine orders & save on shipping costs!
