THE BEATLES BLUE BOX COLLECTION 

1978 ORIGINAL COLLECTION

From our friend's estate - this has been a one-owner set since 1978. 

Everything that originally came with the set appears to be included. I took 16 photos but eBay only would allow 12. If you would like to see the other 4 photos, send me a message and will arrange that. Parlophone label and was manufactured in UK, this set is in pristine condition, the records are in fabulous condition, the bright spots are the camera flash. The white album has the poster and pics; Sgt. Peppers includes a cut-out board.  All 13 records and sleeves are listed below, with any flaws noted. 

The only real defect of this collection is the joint of the box, just from opening/closing. The records & covers are in pristine condition with a couple of exceptions, listed below.

Includes the following LPs:


  1. The Beatles "Rarities" - Record still covered in lightweight wrap, don't believe it has seen a needle.. Cover has 2 tiny white spots on front of cover.
  2. The Beatles White Album  - Double record set in this pure white album. No flaws, as with the others, does not look to have been played or even removed from album. There is a poster included.
  3. Let It Be - As with the others, appears to have never been removed from cover. The cover has edge wear, very mild on the bottom - probably from sitting in the box.
  4. with the beatles - Mint, Mint, Mint… perfect cover, perfect LP
  5. Revolver - Mint cover, mint album
  6. Beatles Abbey Road - Again the top of the record cover appears to have never been glued. Record is Mint
  7. Beatles For Sale - Very slight corner edge wear on bottom left, LP is Mint
  8. Rubber Soul - Mint LP & Cover
  9. The Beatles HELP - Mint LP & Cover
  10. Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band - Mint Cover, Mint LP, Mint Sgt. Peppers Cut-out Sheet
  11. The Beatles Please Please Me - Mint Cover, Mint LP
  12. The Beatles A Hard Days Night - Mint Cover, Mint LP
  13. Yellow Submarine - condition of record is mint. Bottom of sleeve is loose but looks new. Might have missed glue at the manufacturer? Looks brand new

We are selling the estate of our best friends who passed away. They were lovers of music from the 60s & 70s, book nuts, and a lot of fun to be around. Consequently we have quite an array of rather rare and odd items. If you are looking for something in particular, let us know and if we have it, we will list it.
