1968 1st PRESS BEATLES WHITE DOUBLE ALBUM MONO LP. WITH ORIGINAL PHOTOS, LYRIC/POSTER SHEET AND INNER SLEEVES.
Purchased in the U.S.A. in 1968 within a few days of its release.
COVER: Album Number: 0120015. PMC 7067-8. Gate folded shiny outer and inner cover in EXCELLENT condition and still white with few very,very minor marks. Some slight wear on the corners and opening side of the sleeve. A couple of the digits of the front album number have slightly worn away, but the number is still readable. The cover opens with a nice new crisp sound to it. Spine in excellent order. No rips or crush damage. It really is in terrific condition for its age.
INNER LP SLEEVES: VERY GOOD condition with no rips and some minor creasing and some slight discolouration around the edges. Some slight peeling on the edge overlaps.
VINYLS: Both vinyls are in EXCELLENT condition. Both vinyls have no sign of any warping. I have played both LPs and the sound quality is excellent with occasional faint static mostly heard in some quieter sections of some songs and no skipping/slipping on any track.
There is no crackling that interferes or overwhelms the music in the slightest and I counted about 4 faint pops ( although I did leave the room a couple of times ).
4 PHOTOS AND LYRICS SHEET: The photos are in MINT condition with no rips, scuffs, bends or curled up corners. The picture/lyric sheet is in mint condition with no rips or discolouration. The folds are sharp with no wear.
This album has been played very little and you can tell by the quality of play. It really is a very nice example of a highly sought after album that's over 48 years old and highly collectable. You dont find many in such good condition as this one.
The album will be carefully packed in an LP postage box for delivery.
