The second and last EP release by Capitol Records, Four by the Beatles is a must have for all Beatles collectors. Released in February 1965, Capitol deleted it from its catalog in December 1965 after it only hit 68 on the Hot 100. The EP contains four tracks originally released on the Beatles '65 LP that was released in December 1964. Not many of these were pressed to begin with and are becoming scarcer by the day. Especially in this condition. I'm not a professional dealer but I would grade this set at VG to VG+ considering it's 50 years old. The hardboard picture sleeve is still completely intact with no seam splits or chipping. The cover and back which are identical, both have small amounts of rub wear that shows slightly on the darker areas. there is no visible ring wear on either side. There are no stains, writing, stickers or tape residue on the sleeve or labels. The vinyl and labels are a solid G to VG condition. You can tell it was played at one time. I have made no attempt to clean either side since I bought it 5 years ago. The 45 has been stored outside the sleeve in a separate green paper sleeve and will be shipped that way. I'm not sure if the inner sleeve is original but I will include it nonetheless. This auction will open at $49.00 with No Reserve. Good Luck!
