BEATLES EX All You Need Is Love PS & RARE “comma” B side 45 label!
Offered here is an original July 17, 1967 US east coast picture sleeve and 45rpm single of The Beatles All You Need Is Love / Baby You’re a Rich Man – Capitol 5964.
In addition to the picture sleeve a very rare Scranton pressing of the record with the corrected B side title punctuation.
CONDITION
Picture Sleeve
Bright white VG++ picture sleeve with vivid saturated colors and clear sharp text. A very nice example of this 56 year old picture sleeve.
No seam splits, no tape, no tears, no writing, no staple holes. Very minor signs of its age or handling wear, very minimal disc impression or ring wear and it lays nice and flat. Included is an acid free picture sleeve insert and resealable Japanese polypropylene sleeve.
Record
Both sides fully play tested on a Fluance RT85 Reference Turntable with an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge. Bright shiny clean VG vinyl with some abrasions to both sides, a few minor scratches, certainly none that are feelable or cause skips or repeats. A loud pressing with minimal audible noise that is present only in quiet passages and fadeout. There is also a small factory blemish on side 2 that does not affect play. Scranton machine stamps in the trail off of both sides. Very nice orange and yellow swirl Capitol labels without subsidiary rim print in VG++ condition. Also included is a new poly lined paper sleeve.
Capitol Records Company Sleeve
Period correct Capitol company sleeve with some minor handling wear and three seam splits. No staple holes, tears or missing paper. Still displays very nicely.
