The BEATLES official EMI England release of their Third LP album, A HARD DAYS NIGHT. As always, produced by George Martin. Fantastic!! Another of the worlds most iconic coverson a record album! This Vinyl 33 is Goldmine EX. My highest grade, shiny, clean, really great, lightly played, some scuffs and marks, but super nice for 55 years old, and labels EX also, clean, no writing. It also has one of the most iconic labels for any album in the world!! My father brought this back from England to Michigan for me in December 1965!! I had been hooked on The Beatles since February 1964, and had agreed to keep me up to date on Beatles albums if I kept up with the chores. I’d have done anything!! It was my Number 18 Beatles album ever, see number in upper left corner of the cover!! No idea what all the prior 17 were!! I was 14 and I treasured it. Eventually after annual trips there he brought me all the Beatles albums!! This vinyl looks great, it’s shiny, with only light scuffs, clean labels. Listen to each side, songs in the UK order, all 13 are by Lennon-McCartney, the only LP with just L-M songs!! They still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the boys as they jump into your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! Eventually, every song on the album was released as a single somewhere worldwide, too cool (I own them !!). This is a beautiful record, quite wonderful!! The cover sleeve grade is EX, with light finger staining on the backside. I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible because the backsides were not laminated like the front and edges!! These 1960s original Beatles Parlophone albums are so hard to price. There were many pressing of each, due to super high sales, and determining which pressing you have is tedious. See photo #8, From “45cat”, my favorite worldwide discography site. It explains the differences between pressing, leading me to believe this one comes from late 1965, about the time my dad brought it home to me. This album for sale has the labels rim print change from Parlophone to Gramophone as well as the songs on the labels as mentioned on “Late 1965” version 5!! Trying to price it is guesswork. But I guess the market will tell me what these are worth! All my early Beatles Parlophone albums I will sell are in EX shape other than With the Beatles.
