Original ONE-OFF Letter From THE BEATLES OFFICIAL FAN CLUB, Monmouth Street, London.
This Return letter addressed to my now late Father was sent on the 8th December 1964 inquiring about info on purchasing more NEMS Ltd Beatles Scrap Books which were Sold Out everywhere locally and by post, There was rather a large shortage for Fans overall! The return letter was about info on any more or any continuation of NEMS Ltd Beatles Scrap Books which I hoped the Club could help with but with No success!
THE LAST FOUR PHOTO'S ARE PROMOTING A LARGE COLLECTION OF My late Father's over 45 Scrap Books which which held a large collection of Newspaper cuttings from the Beatles beginnings to their demise over 8yrs, main amount of compilation between 1963 - late 1968 all cuttings with typed labels dated & from which Local or National Newspaper they were tidily cut from! ( Scrap Books not included in this listing ). THESE HAVE NOT BEEN LISTED YET & Are on the listing Purely to Promote the SALE of This RARE & Extraordinarily Collection of This, Some of His Favourite Memorabilia of His Great Collection!
He used 1966 World Cup Football Scrap Books when he had No other option. Almost 50 Scrap Books altogether with some rare cuttings & photo's, A full quite original collection of the Beatles Life as a Band & also as Solo Artists & an insight into some of their personal Life too!
COMPLETE SET Of Scrap Books & History of The Beatles told through the Tabloids is for SALE, ( Unlisted at present ).
They are Worth a Substantial amount, OPEN TO SENSIBLE OFFERS ONLY!

With a unique one -off compilation of colour, B/W photo's interviews, articles, prestigious occasions, concerts, touring & on the road with the Band, personal life & much more from all National, local & Pop Magazines from the era the collection is worth four figures or what ever an avid enthusiast is willing to give pay.
I have seen 15 similar Beatles books not so full of cuttings or laid out in chronological order go for £580.00 at a reputable auction company & over the past few years only a few sets for private sale or auction for similar prices depending on content & quality of books of which mine are in Exceptional condition along with contents!

The letter from Margaret was hand typed and Signed in blue ink which was Margaret's manor at that time. On Official Red ink headed paper, 20cm x 16.5cm.
Margaret Hayes, Somerset Area Secretary of the Official Beatles Fan Club, ( Originally the Bands First Secretary from 1961 - 1964 ), before moving to West Huntspill, Highbridge, Somerset and becoming the Area Secretary of the Official Fan Club to Somerset and the South West Division of the Club and Freda Kelly took over as Head Secretary in London. As the Fan Club became so big with thousands of members from the U.K and also the World, there were several branches split over England to cope with the demand of the BEATLES Success.
Letter in Excellent Condition, No rips, tears, marks, stains, creasing or any other defacement of any kind. Been kept in plastic bag in folder for over 50Yrs, Stored in dry suitable conditions along with a large collection of other Beatles Memorabilia, belonging to my late Father!
