The Beatles' Beatles for Sale (No 2) EP was released June 4, 1965. The EP was only released in Mono and never released in Stereo. It's catalogue number is Parlophone GEP 8938! This is another from my personal collection of Beatles records,, collected over a period of more than 35 years! My main aim has always been trying to find the best audio quality available on vinyl and thus I have accumilated many, many variations and pressings over the years, always to be amaized by the differences. I became aware early in my collecting career that the earliest pressings i.e. pressed from the first original masters produce the best for audio quality on vinyl. Here on offer is the original 1st UK pressing extended play 7'' single of 'The Beatles For Sale No2' Please note, the important features only found on the original 1st UK pressings! I have noted in the past that there are many that are seen advertised as 1st press and are clearly not, there are later pressings and re-releases of this E.P. This is the original and becoming very scarce and sought after! The audio quality is absolutely stunning!, This plays through perfectly on my system without any surface noise crackle skips or jumps! I would grade the audio as near mint!

These are the original 1st UK press Parlophone labels! Feature ''The Parlophone co....'' text around the label rim Please note later 2nd pressings feature 'The Gramophone co'

''sold in the uk.....'' is featured across the middle (only 1st UK later do not feature this) K.T tax code is also stamped on side 1. label (only 1st uk press) these are in superbe condition with just minimal spider marks that can only be seen angled to the light which indicates along with the awesome audio quality that this has barely been played!!, unbeleivable for a 44 year old Beatles record!!! 

The vinyl

The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and the playing surface still retains its super mirror like surface\sheen from new! On initial inspection this looks awesome! When looked at under a strong light there are very few light whyspy surface marks\scratches\sleeve removal marks but I must emphise there are no audio sounding needle scratches at all!

The audio quality

I have played this vinyl through track for track many times prior to listing at very loud volume on a top system using a dedicated mono cartridge! The audio plays through near perfect! Stunning cristal clear and vibrant top mono audio on all frequencies! Importantly there is absolutely (no) distortion ticks clicks or pops that I heard at all! Even in between tracks any surface noise is minimal! Very rare to find like this! (it is quite obvious to me that this has rarely been played or has only ever had minimal play ever! Highly collectable like this! Audio graded as near mint!

The Cover

This is the original 1st UK press laminated front flipback rear sleeve! features the small mono logo at the front and the correct UK catalogue number at the rear! The laminate is super glossy appearance with  just minimal creasings worth to mention and only angled to the light can any ringware be seen. There is minimal storageware in the form of very light bumping at the corners only. There are no splits or tares and the rear is very clean (often seen extreemely grubby with age)All writing is legable this must be at least excellent!

THIS ALBUM WILL BE SENT IN A LARGE BOX WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS THE ALBUM IS ALWAYS PUT IS A POLY SLEEVE AND ENCASED IN THE BOX WITH PLENTY OF BUBBLEWRAP FOR ADDED PROTECTION (SEE PHOTOS)
