Notes on first pressings:           [1] Black label with yellow logo and silver print.  [2] “The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start of the perimeter print. [3] “Recording first published 1964? and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text.  [4] Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. [5] With or without KT tax code on the label.  [6] Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 503-3N; Side 2: XEX 504-3N. Later pressings have the same labels, but other numbers -3N/-4N; -4N/-3N; -4N/-4N.  [7] Laminated front and back sides. [8] Outline “mono” on the front. [9] Gatefold inside flipback sleeve.

This album has one of the first known appearances of 'gatefold' sleeve record packaging, but opens from the inside.

Vinyl  has a number of surface marks which do not affect the sound. There are no clicks, crackles or skips but there is some light "noise" audible between a few tracks, which really is very low-level. There are a couple of soft pops on A1. Overall a very nice copy.

Fold-out laminated sleeve is excellent, virtually no wear ! (see photos for details.)
