October 11, 1965 was a “Green Letter Day” for The Beatles. On that day, Capitol Records released six 45s under their Star Line label (sometimes spelled as one word, so I do it both here). 

Today, these green swirl discs are among the most valuable in the group’s historic catalog.

According to Fab 4 Collectibles in New York, this is “the rarest of all east or west coast pressings of the Starline series, and for collectors has quickly become the most sought after.”

This disc you’re bidding on shows why. Both songs sound great from first note to fadeout.

The label has the RARER AND MORE VALUABLE EAST COAST THIN PRINT from the Scranton PA plant. Even the perimeter print is incredibly clear. There is just the most minor of wear.

The ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVE features all 6 Beatles listings on the back (not all of them do). No tears, no marks, no labels!
