BEATLES HELP! LP with OBI in RED VINYL + inserts MONO EMI / ODEON EAS-70134.
Rare Original Japanese Pressing on ODEON before the Apple releases emerged.
This is an original mono record from The Beatles, pressed in Japan with the original 1965 UK stamps.
Vinyl is in perfect near MINT condition.
Slight age spots on cover and slight yellowing on right-hand edge of lyrics sheet - see photos.
A timeless classic.
It is another mega-hit album from 1965 and when the band was in top form. It mirrors the soundtrack of the movie 'HELP!'
This album is probably best known for its classic title track 'HELP!'
Other favourites include 'The Night Before', 'Ticket to Ride', the smooth croony ballad 'Yesterday' and a great rendition of Buck Owens country-style 'Act Naturally' sung by Ringo. This added a different texture to the rocking rhythm of the main play.
Finally, John lets fly with the wild classic 'Dizzy Miss Lizzy'. It's raw rock and roll fury with Ringo really hammering out the exuberant beat. Such fun!!!
