The BEATLES official USA Capitol Rainbow 1987 HEY JUDE reissue redo release of their Original 1970 album titled THE BEATLES AGAIN. It was originally from February 1970 with 9 Lennon-McCartney songs and 1 Harrison song. 10 songs from singles that had not yet been released on US Capitol albums!! NOTE: This copy has Capitol Issue number SJ-385. The original album from 1970 was SO-385 on the labels, and SW-385 on the Sleeve!! By 1987 Capitol was reissuing the original US albums for the last time, then they issued the first set of UK style Parlophone/Capitol/EMI labels and never repressed the Original US 10 again!!! This album was the final US Capitol created (butchered!) album, and was later copied in Europe. This one is produced by George Martin. Fantastic!! As always!! Another of the worlds most iconic covers on a record album! A great cover, with photo only, no writing. It is graded Goldmine EX, unsealed but believed Unplayed!! I bought this copy sealed but later opened but It is UNPLAYED. See photos. NOTE: there was an earlier Rainbow label LP pressed, but this shiny label version is the last press of this HEY JUDE album, fully Excellent!! Classic hits here are: CAN’T BUY ME LOVE, PAPERBACK WRITER, LADY MADONNA, and their biggest hit single ever HEY JUDE !! All four released on Capitol singles 1964-1968! Of course every song is a classic, even today, over 50 years later. My favorite: REVOLUTION, a modern rock anthem that still knocks our socks off every time it’s played!!! The Beatles aimed at getting the LP to market following the huge success of the Hey Jude single and The White Album and Abbey Road LP!!! And all the singles not yet on LP!!! They all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the Boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This is a beautiful record and quite wonderful sounding!! STEREO!! This LP is stored in plastic sleeve since its purchase by me. I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible, especially one of these “new” reissues which I thought would become rarer and greatly treasured!!
