Item Description:
Released by Parlophone, UK on 24 November 1967, this is the RARE Beatles ‘Hello Goodbye/I am The Walrus’ Parlophone 'A' Label DEMONSTRATION Vinyl 45 on the Custom GREEN Parlophone Label with a Large White ‘A’, and black Print. Both sides of the Vinyl disc are printed with the ‘Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim and ‘Demonstration Record Not For Sale’, together with the wording ‘Parlophone’ across the top on both sides. The side 2 label is Green with Black Print. The centre of the Demo is printed with the date of (24.11.67). The Demo 45 comes in an Original Green Parlophone Bag.
Official Trail Out Matrix and Stamper Information:
The side 1 machine stamped matrix is 7XCE 18433-1/Side 2 Matrix: 7XCE 18434-1.
The side 1 stampers are: ‘1G’, side 2 stampers: ‘1G’. Additionally the letters ‘KT’ are stamped on both trail out grooves.
Grading Assessment:
Both Record Labels are in STUNNING near mint condition - very unusual to find Demo labels in this BRIGHT, UNDAMAGED condition, and free from any handwriting and scuffing! All that is visible are just a few light spider trails to either side. Both sides of the Vinyl disc is in STRONG excellent plus condition, Lovely, Gleaming, UNWORN vinyl showing just a couple of light surface hairlines to either side. The Parlophone sleeve too is in great shape, with no tearing or handwriting.
Playing Quality:
Both sides of the Demo plays extremely well throughout, with just a little light background crackle, but No skips, jumps or distortion. The Disc sits 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
