Description
I'm not a dealer just an avid vinyl collector for over 20 years. I've just bought a mate's collection of over 300 LP's in order to get the 30/40 that I wanted. I'll be selling the rest over the forthcoming weeks/months. There's lots of really good stuff to sell all of which have been graded using the UK version of the 'Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide'. I've used '+/-' on items which just fall out of the standard grading structure.
The Beatles - Help - UK 1st 1965 stereo pressing LP on the yellow and black Parlophone label - Parlophone PCS3071 - Matrix numbers YEX 168-1 and YEX 169-1 - Stampers 1-0 on side1 and 1-P on side2.
The 'Garrod and Lofthouse' flip-back sleeve is laminated on the front only and has the 'outline' stereo on the front cover. This cover is quite superb with no marks, bends, folds, scuffs, tears or writing of any kind. I'd like to say full mint but it over 39 years old ! : MINT- CONDITION.
The vinyl itself is also superb with just one or two very, very light hairline lines from taking the vinyl in and out of the paper sleeve. It sounds fantastic on my Linn Sondeck LP12 : EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ CONDITION.
The original 'USE EMITEX' die-cut tracing paper lined inner sleeve is also in superb condition showing little or no signs of use at all : MINT- CONDITION.
The Parlophone yellow and black labels have 'KT' code on side2 and also 'P', '1965', 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD', and 'SOLD IN THE UK SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS SEE PRICE LISTS', showing this to be a 1st pressing. They are also in superb condition showing minimul signs of use : EXCELLENT+ CONDITION.
Payment : I will accept payment in the form of UK sterling cash, UK cheques, UK postal orders, US dollars cash, Euros cash, International Money Order (IMO), Western Union Money Transfer in UK sterling, but definatley no PAYPAL or BIDPAY.
