Welcome to Vinyl Stockholm's auction of:
'The Beatles – Hey Jude'
Up for sale is the rare 1970 UK 1st export press of "Hey Jude" by The Beatles.
Dark green Apple label with two misprints on the label: "Paper Back Writer" and "Revolutions".
First press matrix: YEEX 150-1 / YEEX 151-1. With the early stampers: 1G / 1T
Fully laminated sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Including the original white inner sleeve.
UK 1st press with dark green Apple labels.
This edition has two misprints on the label, side 1: "Paper Back Writer" and "Revolutions".
Stamper codes: 1G / 1T.

Vinyl visual: EXCELLENT +
During a close inspection under a strong halogen light, the vinyl shows one tiny light superficial mark on 'Revolution(s)'
(non feelable, non sounding), just the lightest paper scuffs from removing the vinyl from the inner sleeve.
Great glossy vinyl!
Sound quality: MINT -
Fully playgraded. Great strong clear sound throughout.
No background crackle, even silent between tracks and during the long fade out on 'Hey Jude'. Just lovely!
Inner sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Original white inner sleeve 'Made in England'. No splits or writing.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Fully laminated cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. A few light laminate creases and light corner wear.
