Description
This is a superb copy of 'I Feel Fine' B/W 'She's A Woman' by The Beatles on the Parlophone label from 1964 (catalogue number R 5200). Owing to huge demand for Beatles' singles in the early 60's EMI contracted out pressing of their early records to two other companies - Decca and Pye. This is a Pye contract pressing identified by the fact that there are no stamper letters positioned at 3 o'clock to the matrix numbers (on the run-off grooves) which are 7XCE 18171-1N and 7XCE 18172-1N respectively and also because the 4 point centre has no ridge at the perimeter, thus identifying the Pye press. The sleeve is a plain white paper type and has been graded as VG+. The record plays really well on both sides and there is some minor surface noise. It gets a VG++ grading. Unfortunately, I cannot provide photos of my items at the moment but, if you are interested in bidding for this record please refer to my feedback references and to the fact that if you are not fully satisfied I will provide a 100% refund.
