DEEP GROOVE BLACK LABEL ORIGINAL PRESSING 1964 VEE JAY US MONO~VJLP-1062T-2047 ASK ME WHY~PLEASE PLEASE ME
SUPERIOR FIDELITY This authentic label variation was used for a short time in 1963 & 64 to keep up with the demand for the LP as they ran out of the typical colorband VJ labels. VeeJay used many pressing plants to press the LP some better than others. This pressing plant was particularly good as compared to the other pressings with superior fidelity, clear vocals and crisp highs. Authentic copies like this one have both the title and group name above the spindle hole on the labels as many of you know.
