BEATLES John and Yoko Happy Xmas 12” PROMO White Vinyl Capitol NM!

Extremely limited to 2000 copies worldwide, this promo was pressed with Yoko’s permission in 1986.  The proceeds from the sale of this 12” went to benefit the Central Virginia Food Bank, making this an extremely regional release.  This copy is number 1293 of the 2000 copies issued.

Vinyl---NM, pure white.  Both sides feature John’s “Happy Xmas (War is Over).”  This issue is the only available source with the edited version from 3:32 down to 3:14.  It doesn’t exist elsewhere.

Sleeve---not received with an inner sleeve, I have supplied a rice paper sleeve to protect the beautiful vinyl.

Cover---Shows minimal wear, but not much at all.  Front and back covers show light, approaching but not arriving at moderate ringwear.  All the seams are strong and intact, no splits.  There are but light signs of shelfwear to the seams and spine, but nothing serious.  Back left corner has a push-in that results in a tiny triangle of slick that has bent backward.  Overall, a very nice cover.

For the second time in two weeks, I’ve had a very high bid cancelled on my auctions. A third buyer who won her auction told me she was going to withhold payment for two days while she decided whether she wanted the LP.  All of these LP’s were in the triple digits. (Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl.  However, I am happy to by request.  As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
