YOU ARE BIDDING ON A VERY RARE COMPLETE BOX SET ORIGINAL ISSUE JOHN LENNON AND YOKO ONO "WEDDING ALBUM" ON APPLE RECORDS. THIS SET WAS ISSUED IN 1969 AND IS VERY HARD TO FIND WITH ALL OF THE PIECES INTACT. THE GATEFOLD LP COVER IS IN GORGEOUS NEAR MINT CONDITION. it shows no wear at all! NO STICKERS, CREASES, WRITING, BENDS, RING WEAR, DIRT WEAR, OR STAPLE HOLES. (the cover for this lp is very prone to ring wear, seam splits, and dirt wear as it is black and white in color). APPLE LP IS IN MINT- CONDITION. it shows only some very minor light paper marks from being slid out of the inner sleeve on the record. RECORD SHOWS THE FULL ORIGINAL GLOSS. APPLE LABELS ARE IN MINT CONDITION. THE ORIGINAL OUTER CARDBOARD BOX IS IN FAIR CONDITION. IT SHOWS A GOOD BIT OF WEAR. THE TOP LID HAD SOMETHING HEAVY SET ON IT CAUSING THE LID TO SAG IN THE MIDDLE. THERE ARE 4 SIDE SPLITS ON THE LID. NO CORNER SPLITS BUT THE UPPER LEFT CORNER HAS SOME DAMAGE AS SEEN IN THE SCAN. THE BOTTOM PART OF THE BOX IS IN VG CONDITION WITH 2 SPLITS AND NO SPLIT CORNERS. the wedding certificate inside of the lid is in mint- condition. the 20 PAGE "THE PRESS" booklet is in mint- condition, with a small bend at the upper right corner. the large full size "THE WEDDING" poster is in mint condition. the 3 panel fold open poster is in mint condition. the "BAGISM" plastic bag, wedding cake, 4 panel photo strip, and the postcard and all in mint condition. OTHER THAN THE BOX ITSELF BEING IN ROUGH CONDITION, THIS APPLE SET IS IN EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CONDITION. this auction is for the complete set as originally issued on apple records. CATALOG # SMAX 3361.
