DESCRIPTION:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
(Super Rare original 1970 Box Set on Beatles APPLE Label. The Beatles – Let It Be – LP Box Set - Apple Catalogue No PXS 1 (Not listed on Package).
A breakdown of the Box Set.
1) The Outer Sleeve
Made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse Limited
(Patent Pending) Has a clear group picture on the front with
a few mild creases. There is a slightly more pronounced
crease in the top left hand corner The back is clean with a
few marks and light creases.
2) The Vinyl (Graded (Matrix 2U/2U) Dark Green Label
Record generally has a few faint surface marks / hairlines
and plays through very well with some occasional faint
Surface noise, (Here and There) The Dark Green Apple label
Is lovely and clean with some faint spindle wear marks.
3) The LP Cover (With Orange Apple Logo)
The Cover has the Orange Apple Logo. Cover has a
couple of ring wear induced creases on the top. The spine
is perfectly in-tact. Comes with White inner sleeve.
4) The (Get Back) Book –
The Rare and delicate Get Back book has a wonderful front
cover (Lovely and clean looking) with just a couple of
light lamination creases and a small crease in the bottom
right hand corner. The spine is perfectly formed and legible
to read. The pages of the book are very well preserved
however the glue has dried out in the middle splitting the
book into two within the spine and a few pages are starting
to become loosened as a result.
I am sure this can be professionally repaired, however this
should not detract from the lovely quality and condition of
the cover and pages of the book.
5) The Inner Tray and surround have become mildly flattened
and have lost some shape as is often the case with these
Delicate Box Sets. Both the tray and surround have a
couple of small tears and a few creases to
the inner / outer flaps. This is the original tray however,
I understand these trays can be replaced separately.
Considering all sections to the Box.
OVERALL GRADE FOR BOX SET IS (Excellent-) CONDITION.
This is becoming an extremely difficult Box Set to find.
