Description
RARE ORIGINAL GERMAN BOX
This is an original GERMAN first issue ‘Let it be’ box comprising the outer slipcase and trays (NOT the record and book). Slipcase and inner trays were manufactured in Germany by Heinrich Nicolaus GmbH (small print on the back of the slipcase).
Outer Slipcase (very good)
As I have always stored the box between my records it displays storagewear, mostly confined to the corners. There is small tear at the right side < 1cm but it is overall clean and in-shape with no serious or major faults. Through the years the photographs have yellowed somewhat.
Outer Tray (book tray holder; very good)
Also the outer tray has storage wear, but only to the corners and the fold-overflaps. There is a 2cm tear to one of the folds.
Inner Tray (book tray; good)
The fold-over edges are intact and there are no missing sections. However, the bottom part has been teared off from the tray. No other wear or damage elsewhere.
