Here I have a really nice and solid NORTH AMERICAN pressing of The Beatles LET IT BE vintage Box Set. As you know there was no USA issue of this Limited Set but was available in some northern states as an import at the time of its first being issued. This copy was purchased new in NYC and has been cared for pretty well over the years. The box known to be very susceptible to tears and rips as well as wear on the midnight black color remains in pretty great shape. It’s solid and secure with custom made die cut supports hidden, but not glued, under the inner box divider. This has kept that part of this set like new which is always a problem with this construction. The slipcover is still tight and secure with a good uniform color. The book is in great condition. No loose pages have come undone and it shows very low wear. It pains me to tell you that the book cover, though still in great shape, has come away along the spine of the book. It appears that the glue holding the block of pages along the inner spine has dried to the point of being unable to stay connected. It’s all still in great shape and I’m sure that if the proper glue were applied it would appear as good as new but I’ll leave that to the new owner. A little TLC will do the trick. Oh yeah the record. Please observe the photos to judge its condition. Shows light wear but still well cared for. I feel the next owner of this box set will be pleased if their looking for a not mint but very, very nice and solid example that won’t cost an arm and a leg. Again please fan out and study the photos. I think you’ll agree my description is sound and honest.
