Please read the Terms and Conditions lower in the listing about payment, postage costs and insurance BEFORE placing a bid. Thank you.

I am happy to answer any questions, but please read the listing carefully before sending a question or placing a bid. I try to provide comprehensive details and information in every listing so the answers to most questions should be found below.

During five years of trading on ebay, I have received around 1,300 positive feedbacks from over 1,000 individual customers, almost all from the sale of vinyl records.

I take great pride in ensuring that my records are always described accurately and fairly. All my items come with a money-back guarantee - if it's not as described, you can return it for a full refund.

UK bidders please note P&P is NOT free. This item weighs over 1.5Kg when packed and will be sent fully insured. Costs for postage to all countries appear at the bottom of the listing.

This is lovely example of the Let it Be box set with everything complete and original and in superb condition.

The album cover has the red apple logo on the back, the vinyl has the first press 2U/2U matrixes and plays superbly and the book looks like it has hardly ever been opened.

The whole item is entirely genuine and original (including ALL parts of the box). There are NO substitutions from non-UK box sets, NO non-first presses, NO replicas or replacements of any parts. Everything is 100% genuine UK first pressing in lovely condition.

Detailed description
Box outer sleeve: This is the original Garrod and Lofthouse outer sleeve made in Great Britain and is in great condition with just very light signs of use. There are slight signs of wear and just a few small laminate creases near the edges and corners. There is no laminate lifting or flaking anywhere and the box has retained its original shape with absolutely no signs of crushing or flattening at all - it sits square even when the inside trays are removed. This is one of the best examples of the outer sleeve that I have seen and it is completely genuine and free from any damage, repairs, reinforcements or touch-ups.

Get Back book: The original book is in stunning condition and looks like it has hardly ever been opened. The spine is perfectly straight and all the pages are fully complete and intact.

LP cover: The cover looks great and shows just very slight signs of use. There are some laminate wrinkles near the spine on the rear, but that is all - it really is a superb example.
Edge wear: There is minimal wear to the edges, spine and opening.
Corner wear: The tips of the corners show moderate wear (most noticeable at the bottom opening corner).

Vinyl: The vinyl looks superb and has clearly been very well cared for. Under bright light I could see just a few fine hairlines and a handful of very small, fine marks on tracks 3 and 4 of side one. I have played the entire record and it sounds superb.
I playgrade records on a sensitive deck, listening through headphones and with the treble set high and there really was very little extraneous noise anywhere. But for the sake of total accuracy this is what I heard:
- three really, really soft clicks (audible only in the left channel) during 'Across the Universe'.
- three soft clicks (also only audible in the left channel) during 'I Me Mine'.
- two clicks in the silent groove at the end of 'The Long and Winding Road'.
- eleven very soft clicks (only audible in the right channel) during the piano solo in 'Get Back'.
Other than this, there was just some light background noise in the quiet bits such as the run-ins/outs, fades, silent grooves and intros and in the background of parts of the quiet tracks ('Let it Be', 'The Long and Winding Road', 'For you Blue') but there was absolutely nothing of any significance at all. This is a simply stunning audio performance from this original, 40 year old 1st pressing.

Matrix numbers mothers and stampers:
Side 1: YEX 773-2U       1         GAR
Side 2: YEX 774-2U       2         GPM

Labels: Both labels look great with absolutely no signs of damage, writing, stickers etc, just light spindle marking.

Inner sleeve: Original plain white inner has no splits or tears.

Box outer and inner trays: These are totally original and in great condition. I have shown both sides of both parts in the photos. Anyone who knows the box set will know how hard it is to find these trays (especially the inner tray) in perfect condition. This pair are great. The outer tray has no tears or damage and just some wear to the edges. The inner tray has some stress tears at the bottom corners (from the weight of the book) but is fully intact and in one complete piece. There are no repairs or sellotape etc anywhere on any parts of either tray. I think you would be hard-pushed to find better examples.

Detracting features not covered above - None. This is totally original and genuine and in great condition throughout.

Information about descriptions.
My records are always described accurately and fairly. I always do my best to point out any blemishes which might detract from the item and all photographs are of the actual item you will get.

Visually-graded vinyl: Unless stated in the listing, vinyl is visually graded. I play grade records where possible but I don't have time to play them all, so I usually restrict play grades to collectors' items and rare records. A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and will determine whether a record has been cared-for properly, but it will not detect noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and fifty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.

Play-graded vinyl: I will always state in the listing if I have played a record prior to describing it. When I play a record I listen to it carefully through headphones, taking notes of any noise, clicks, distortion etc and play it all the way through (unless stated otherwise). I have two record decks and one is more sensitive than the other to any physical flaws on the record surface. Records are always played on the sensitive deck first and the notes for the audio performance are taken from that deck. If this play-through detects any jumps or sticks those sections of the disk will be re-played on the less-sensitive deck to see whether they happen on that too.

First pressings and originals: Many of the records I sell are first pressings and, if this is the case, I will usually identify them as such and may include the relevant matrix information etc in the description. However, sometimes I cannot be certain whether a record is a first pressing or not. In these instances I will often use the word 'original' to identify a pressing which I think might be a first pressing, but do not know for sure (but which is certainly NOT a recent pressing or audiophile release etc). If you specifically want a first pressing, and know how to identify it, please ask the relevant questions before you bid.

Feel free to ask any questions about the item (but please don’t leave it to the last minute as I may not get a chance to reply).

POSTAGE & PACKING

I care about the records I sell and believe that they need to be carefully and securely packaged to ensure that they survive their journey through the post. Vinyl is removed from the sleeve for posting and the contents will be protected with rigid cardboard stiffeners. All packages are labelled "Do not bend" and securely sealed with "FRAGILE" parcel tape.

I send my records in high-quality, purpose-made packaging. I support the use of recycled materials and so occasionally I may send records in packaging which has been previously used or which has been made from other cardboard packaging. If you wish your item to be sent in entirely new packaging please let me know before paying for it. Thanks.

This item weighs over 1.5Kg when packed and will only be sent fully insured. It does not qualify for my usual multiple item postage discounts. Thank you.
