Description
BEATLES – ‘LET IT BE’ BOX SET
This is an original box set of the Beatles ‘Let it Be’ album containing the stereo LP record on the Apple label in an export sleeve showing the ‘Parlaphone’ box logo instead of the domestic ‘Red Apple’ logo. The record is identified as PCS7096, but the sleeve carries the identification as PPCS7096. The matrix numbers are: Side 1- YEX773-3U & Side 2 – YEX774-2U.
Condition
Outer Sleeve – Intact, but some scuffing on bottom edge and corners. Some minor creasing around open sides and beginnings of curling at corners of lapped joint.
Trays – Generally good condition with minor scuffing at corners and beginnings of tears at the internal corners of the inner tray that contains the booklet ‘The Beatles Get Back’.
Record Sleeve – Generally excellent condition, but shows imprint of record in places. Some minor surface creasing. Spine & lettering fully intact.
Inner Sleeve – Excellent condition.
Record – Both sides play well with good sound quality with some surface static. A few minor surface marks which do not affect the playing quality.
Booklet ‘The Beatles Get Back’ – In excellent condition, fully intact. Some very minor scuffing on cover edges.
Notwithstanding condition, the view of ‘Record Collector’ experts is that the export version is of the same value as the domestic UK issue.
