Description
the beatles let it be extremely rare ORIGINAL 1970 EXPORT LP , which was manufactured on the black Parlophone Record Label instead of the Apple Record Label, 12 track lp.
this particular pressing was manufactured in very limited quantities, to be exported for sale to countries out side of the UK and was pressed on the very rare Parlophone Record Label(instead of the Apple Label) and the rear of the record sleeve is quite different to the regular sleeve.
this lp was manufactured by Parlophone/EMI Records.
i would not normally list a record in this sort of condition but it is extremely rare...one for the real collector.
it has light surface scuffs/marks and light scratches.it has a slight warp/dishing to the outer edge of the vinyl.this does not cause it to jump or skip, but does cause a slight static/distortion on the warped section.
the laminated sleeve has flaps at the top and the bottom of the sleeve which is quite unusual.
it also has the white parlophone "box" in the bottom of the left hand corner with the EMI 75 sticker and has the different printing along the bottom and the EMITEX logo in the right hand corner.
the cover has seen better days.the opening edge is a bit tatty/worn.the laminate is lifting in places.there is a small name written on the front and 2 on the rear of the sleeve.the spine has been repaired with a large piece of sticky tape at once stage which overlaps partially onto the front and rear of the cover due to a large spine split.there is a name written on the label.
the inner sleeve has splits to the seams/edges and is SOUTH AFRICAN,which leads me to believe it was originally exported to there.
the catalogue number is PCSJ7096....YEX773/774
i would never normally list a record in this sort of condition.but this is a piece of Beatles' history.
a must for serious collectors or a great record to frame.

it has been brought to my attention by a friendly ebayer that this pressing also has a very unusual songwriting credit on the FOR YOU BLUE track on side 2 which is pictured in the gallery photos....it states that the song is written by HARRISON/MCCARTNEY.....when on other pressings of this lp it states that the song is written by HARRISON only.....
