BEATLES LP BEATLES FOR SALE GERMAN ODEON SMO 73 790
On offer is THE BEATLES LP entitled BEATLES FOR SALE released in STEREO in GERMANY on the white/gold ODEON label ODEON SMO 73 790. This is the first press German Stereo.
These white/gold label stereos are amongst the most beautiful of all Beatles foreign pressings and the sound quality is superb. The example offered here for sale is from my personal collection of Beatles LPs (acquired over many years of collecting) AND it is in lovely condition as follows-
- The front laminated picture sleeve cover is in LOVELY EX condition with a STEREO sticker in gold. I have kept this LP in a plastic cover for over 30 years which has helped to protect it well over the years.
- The back cover is also in LOVELY EX condition. This is such a nice sleeve! It has been kept well protected in a plastic sleeve.
- The disc is in nice EX/EX- condition – with a nice sheen to it and beautifully clean, clear vinyl. The labels are also very clear and clean – it is a lovely disc. There is one mark between the tracks Mr. Moonlight and Kansas City.
- I have just test played the LP and it plays EX throughout with a nice full stereo sound audible in my hi-fi. The record has some audible clicks in between the tracks Mr. Moonlight and Kansas City.
- The disc is in its original inner – which has pictures of other Odeon LPs available at the time – including With The Beatles .
- The matrix numbers are – YEX 142-1 / YEX 143 -1
Overall this is a lovely example of this rare Beatles German Odeon first press stereo Beatles for sale LP – which is hard-to-find in the nice condition that this LP is in.
