BEATLES LP BEATLES FOR SALE STEREO ONE BOX EMI PARLOPHONE PCS 3062

On offer is THE BEATLES LP entitled BEATLES FOR SALE released in the UK in STEREO in 1969 on the very rare ONE BOX EMI silver/ black PARLOPHONE label PARLOPHONE PCS 3062.

These pressings – known as the ONE BOX silver/ black EMI – were only produced for a very short period of time in 1969 – they followed on from the YELLOW BLACK Parlophone pressings and were produced with flip-back sleeves. They are highly desirable collectors’ items these days.

This LP is in superb condition as follows-

The disc is in superb EX/EX+ condition with a lovely sheen to the vinyl. The matrix numbers are: YEX 142-1 / YEX 143-1.
The labels are in nice clean condition.
The LP is housed in its original EMI inner sleeve (the sleeve features pictures of other EMI LPs then for sale).
The GATEFOLD flip back sleeve is in EX/EX- condition – with just a small tear in the very top and the very bottom of the middle spine (these gatefold sleeves often suffer some stress due to the inherent design of the sleeve - SEE THE TOP OF SCAN 3 - which shows this is not major. This example has been kept in a plastic sleeve for many years to reduce any stress on the middle spine.
There is no writing or marks of any kind on the sleeve or the labels.
The LP plays EX throughout with a nice full stereo sound audible when I test played this on my hi-fi.

Overall this is a highly collectable example of the Beatles one box EMI stereo LP –Beatles for sale - on silver / black Parlophone in EX-/EX+ condition that has been well looked after over the years as part of my personal collection.
