The BEATLES official USA Capitol 1995 reissue release of their 1st UK album, 1963 MONO LP album BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME, originally from March 1963 with 14 songs, not just the 11-12 released on a US album! This LP is considered a masterpiece, for it’s time, great rock and roll covers and 8 excellent Lennon-McCartney songs too!! This song set of 14 Beatles tunes became a standard LP in their legacy, awesome considering 10 of the 14 songs were recorded in ONE DAY!! This Old-school MONO copy uses newer Issue number C1-46435. Normally it would have the rare front Black “Limited Edition” sticker indicating it is from 1995, but that sticker is NOT on this reissue release (See photos 1-2 for actual sale item). This is the second US reissue after the original 1987 LP that came out at the time of first US Beatles CD releases (with Rainbow Labels). Check Info from 45cat!! See issue number on back cover, upper right corner. See Photo 4 for expected style of Purple label (Note the labels show 3 brands, Parlophone, Capitol, Apple, finally conglomerated together). This album is still produced by George Martin. Fantastic, As always!! The 33rpm vinyl is always the best way to collect Beatles material. Another of the worlds great iconic covers on a record album! Great Wall Art all these years later!! Still the Beatles at their early 60s greatest!! This STILL SEALED LP is graded Goldmine NM. Believed to contain the Purple Capitol labels, but not guaranteed!! I spent an hour trying to verify!! I bought this copy SEALED around 1999. It is UNPLAYED!! It is UNOPENED!! See photos 1-2 for actual sale item!! Truly the only way to list items as Near Mint. Originally ALL Beatles UK albums were remastered for 1987-88 reissue in US and UK, to match initial CD releases. And of course remastered again in 1995 and 2012, I think. So certainly none of the “original ten” US Beatles Capitol Albums will NEVER EVER be reissued again on vinyl!!! But the UK catalog of 14 vinyl albums will continue indefinitely! Still a fan club for vinyl out there!! GET A SEALED COPY WHILE YOU CAN!!! Of course every song is a classic, even today, 55 years later! LOVE ME DO, PLEASE PLEASE ME, I SAW HER STANDING THERE, and DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET. And my favorite, MISERY!! They all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the Boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This is still a magnificent record, nearly 60 years later, quite wonderful sounding!! Lots of hits!! Lennon-McCartney at their early songwriting best!! The cover/sleeve is SEALED in original shrink wrap since its purchase by me. I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible, especially one of these original US reissues which I thought would become rarer and greatly treasured!!
