Description

The 1st pressing of The Beatles - Let It Be can be identified by the -2U/-2U matrix endings in the runouts; a small ℗ publishing symbol on the labels; and a red Apple logo on the back of the LP sleeve. The 1st pressing was released as a box set with a 164-page 'Get Back' book; the vinyl album; plain 'patents pending' inner sleeve; red Apple logo sleeve; outer box slip case; slip tray; and delicate inner book holder. Some box sets also contained a foldout promotional poster for other Apple releases.

The playing condition is very good

Side 1: Slight hairline scratches.

Side 2: Slight hairline scratches.

The cover condition is very good with creases at the opening edge. There is no wear to the spine or sides

The box is in good condition. The flaps to the inner tray are heavily creased and torn, but when folded in the outer sleeve holds the record and book securely. The book is in a good-plus condition with a few pages having come loose from the spine. I'm not sure if the inner sleeve is original, but it's how I bought it. All records are graded according to the Record Collector Guidelines. I have play-tested the record.

Thanks for looking. The Record Collector grading system is used to evaluate the condition of vinyl records and their covers. Here are the grades and their descriptions:

Mint (M): The record is in brand-new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items, such as the lyric sheet, booklet, or poster, are in perfect condition. 2
Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 2
Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. 2
Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from significant folding, scuffing of edges, discolouration, etc.
