Description

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Let It Be' (BOX SET) and is a 1970 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Dark Green Apple label!!!!  THIS LP IS QUITE SIMPLY ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER BEATLES RECORDS EVER!!!!  IT IS ALSO ONE OF THE HARDEST BEATLES LPs TO FIND AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1ST PRESS 'LET IT BE' BOX SET BY THE BEATLES - WITH A RED APPLE LOGO ON THE COVER BACK, A WHITE 'PATENTS' INNER SLEEVE, BLACK CARD UNDER TRAY, OUTER LAMINATED COVER, AND THE GET BACK BOOK HOUSED IN A BLACK CARD TRAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE OUTER LAMINATED CASE HAS 'PATENTS PENDING' ON THE REVERSE - SHOWING A REALLY EARLY 1ST PRESSING INDEED!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS BOX SET IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL!!!! THIS BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND 100% COMPLETE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!

This Box Set (as mentioned above) is 100% COMPLETE with the laminated outer casing, the black card under tray, the black card book holder, the Get Back Book and the "Let It Be" (red apple) LP!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are the 'Earliest Possible' being - YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U!!!!  The stamper codes are 2/GP & 3/AH (VERY early mother & stamper codes!). The Cat. No. for the Box Set package is PXS 1 and the Cat. No on the record is PCS 7096 on the ORIGINAL 'DARK' Green Apple label (see picture) and is a STEREO 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear (apart from some absolutely FRACTIONAL and INVISIBLE rubbing on one label), NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 ULTRA faint MEGA light NON sounding hairline traces (only visible under the BRIGHTEST of lights), only 1 VERY light TINY scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visuall with barely ANY clicks/pops AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, only some VERY low level background crackle in a VERY few places, and only some VERY low level background sound on the run on grooves and occassional gap - NOT in the music!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'patents' white inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press 'Narrow Spine' Red Apple FULLY Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated Red Apple back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! There is also NO splits, NO rips, and NO tears!!!!  This 1st Press 'Narrow Spine' Red Apple Cover MUST grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!

A Box Set like this is always a challenge to describe - but I will describe EVERYTHING very clearly below and hide nothing. Firstly the 1st Press Outside 'Patents Pending' Laminated Case is in BRILLIANT condition and for once it is VERY shiny looking indeed (unlike the usual 'glazed' and 'dulled' examples you so often see)!!!!  It still retains a STUNNING shape to it - with flat vertical sides and a SUPERB box shape!!!!  There is NO crushing and NO flattening either!!!!  It also has VERY shiny laminate which is VERY hard to find on this Box Set!!!!  It has NO laminate lifting, only a few VERY light creases, and the edges are VERY straight indeed!!!! Even the corners are in BRILLIANT condition - with only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour)!!!!  The only VERY minor defect to mention is a VERY small split on the front left opening edge - though this has been virtually PERFECTLY repaired at some point in the past and is VERY hard to notice!!!!  There is also 1 or 2 absolutely TINY and VERY minor indentations on the black back of the cover - though these have NOT broken the laminate and again are VERY easy to overlook!!!!  This Laminated Outer Case MUST grade Very Good++ if not better and is INCREDIBLY hard to find in this condition!!!!  Next is the cardboard fold-over under tray & also the cardboard book holder. These are always the weak points in this Box Set - but these ones have survived VERY well indeed (most are split into pieces!).  The Under tray is in BRILLIANT condition with NO rips, NO splits, barely ANY edge wear AT ALL, NO feathering, only slight creasing to one flap (barely ANY creases elswhere), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (MEGA rare on this under tray), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour) and a VERY nice shape!!!! The Under Tray MUST grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  The book holder is in GREAT condition overall and is 100% complete!!!!  It is VERY important to note that most of these bookholders were split to pieces, and were only made of VERY weak card to hold a VERY heavy book - so it is EXTREMELY rare indeed to find one still 100% complete!!!!  It still retains a nice stiffness about it and has barely ANY rubbing AT ALL!!!!  However it does have a few creases and at some point in the past it has split slightly in the corners - though these splits have been well repaired (and are PERFECTLY strong) and the book holder is VERY solid in ALL respects!!!!  It is still VERY presentable and MUST grade Very Good(Minus) if not better!!!!  It is also VERY important to note that it still holds the book PERFECTLY!!!!  The 1st Press Get Back Book is in BRILLIANT condition with NO loose pages, shiny laminate, NO spinal wear, barely ANY creases AT ALL, and only some VERY minimal signs of aging!!!!  It must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS IS A BRILLIANT CONDITIONED BOX SET OVERALL AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  THIS BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
