On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Let It Be' (BOX SET) and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK later 1st pressing on the 1st Press Apple label!!!!  THIS BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST BEATLES ITEMS EVER - AND SIMPLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE RAREST BOX SET PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  RIGHT AT THE VERY END OF THE 1ST PRESSING RUN - EMI CHANGED THE COLOUR OF THE APPLE ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER FROM RED TO GREEN!!!!  AND AT THE SAME TIME - THEY DECIDED TO RELEASE THIS LP AS A SINGLE LP ON ITS OWN (WITHOUT THE BOX SET).  HOWEVER THEY STILL HAD A SURPLUS OF BOX SET COMPONENTS TO USE UP - AND THIS WAS ONE OF THOSE LAST EVER BOX SET COPIES - WITH A 'GREEN APPLE ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER!!!!  ONLY A TINY HANDFUL WERE EVER PRESSED WITH A GREEN APPLE AS A BOX SET ISSUE - AND THIS BOX SET IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  AND BEFORE I GET ANY EMAILS SAYING THAT THESE BOX SETS WERE ONLY EVER ISSUED WITH RED APPLES - THAT IS COMPLETE NONSENSE.  THIS BOX SET CAME STRAIGHT OUT OF A DOMESTIC HOUSE LESS THAN 1 WEEK AGO - AND HAD CLEARLY NEVER BEEN TOUCHED SINCE NEW!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS INCREDIBLE BOX SET IS 100% COMPLETE - WITH A GREEN APPLE LOGO ON THE COVER BACK OF THE LP, A 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS' WHITE INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS BLACK CARD UNDER TRAY, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS PENDING' OUTER LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVER, AND 1ST PRESS 'GET BACK BOOK' HOUSED IN A BLACK CARD TRAY!!!!  THE MATRIXES ARE 773-3U & YEX 774-4 - AND NATURALLY AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM ONE OF THE LAST BOX SETS EVER MADE THIS LP HAS A VERY VERY SLIGHTLY LIGHTER GREEN APPLE LABEL (BUT STILL MILES DARKER THAN THE LATER MID 1970s RE-ISSUES!)!!!!  AND EVEN SO THIS IS AN AMAZINGLY EARLY BOX SET AND WOULD HAVE BEEN PRESSED RIGHT AT THE VERY END OF 1970/EARLY 1971 - WHEN THE LAST BOX SETS WERE MADE - BEFORE BEING DELETED FOREVER!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS BOX SET IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  THIS AMAZING BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!! 

This Box Set (as mentioned above) is 100% COMPLETE with the laminated outer casing, the black card under tray, the black card book holder, the Get Back Book and the "Let It Be" (Green apple) LP!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No. for the Box Set package is PXS 1 and the Cat. No on the record is PCS 7096 on the ORIGINAL Green Apple label (see picture) and is a STEREO 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 ULTRA light hairline, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear, and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not Excellent(Minus)!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'patents' white inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press 'Narrow Spine' Green Apple Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the laminated Green Apple back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!!  This cover MUST grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  A BRILLIANT CONDITIONED RECORD!!!!

I will now describe the Box Set in GREAT detail - so please take the time to read EVERYTHING carefully!!!!  Firstly the 1st Press 'Patents Pending' Laminated Outer Case is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO laminate lifting, still retains a nice box shape, NO rips, NO tears, NO splits, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases, only a VERY few VERY minor indentations (NO laminate damage of ANY kind!), and the opening edges are beautifully straight!!!!  This Laminated 'Outer Case' is in BRILLIANT condition and MUST grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Next is the cardboard fold-over under tray.  It has only very VERY light wear to the VERY edges ONLY, a few ULTRA minor 'residue traces' to the vertical sides (VERY unnoticeable INDEED!), AMAZINGLY there is barely ANY wear to vunerable bottom, only a few creases, NO splits, only very VERY light rubbing, slight corner wear, and most importantly NO rips and NO tears!!!!  The Cardboard Undertray MUST grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better and has absolutely NO major defects!!!!  Next is the cardboard book holder. It has NO rubbing AT ALL, barely ANY creases AT ALL, it retains a PERFECT 'stiffness' to it (ie - it DOES NOT 'flop' when you hold it by 1 corner), NO edge wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (virtually NONE), NO feathering, and only a absolutely TINY 'split' in each of the inner corners (only VERY tiny - and virtually UNAVOIDABLE on this part of the box set)!!!!  The only thing I have to mention is that the bookholder seems to be made of a VERY slightly different type of card to the undertray.  It is also matt in colour.  So I suppose it is possible that this could have been 'made up' - at some point - though really I dont see how?  And it is well known that EMI used many different types of cardboard when making this box set - and it is just as possible it could be original!!!!  In any case - it is only 1 small piece of cardboard in this ULTRA RARE box set - and for me it certainly DOES NOT detract in ANY way (and I have measured this cardboard and it seems EXACTLY correct to me!)!!!!  The Book Holder MUST grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  The 1st Press Get Back Book is also in BRILLIANT condition with NO loose pages, barely ANY creases AT ALL, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only VERY minimal edge wear (at light as it gets!) and NO other damage of ANY kind!!!!  It must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS BOX SET IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
