Description

The Beatles - Let it Be
This exceptional UK 1st pressing of The Beatles final studio album is the much sought after Box Set which comes with the fascinating Get Back book.
The 2U/2U matrix numbers confirm that the record is a true first pressing. The mother and stamper codes communicate that the record was produced early in the production cycle. Consequently, playback is fantastic! Take a listen yourself below.
The sleeve is the first variant as is evidenced by the red apple logo to the rear. The box is complete with outer lip, inner tray, book and book support. Incredibly, the extremely rare Apple advertising poster is also included. Very few copies were sold with the poster and even fewer still include them!

Vinyl: EXCELLENT +
Labels: EXCELLENT +
The labels are bright and clean. Only a couple of very light spindle marks are visible to either side.
Visual: EXCELLENT +

The vinyl maintains immaculate, factory fresh deep-gloss playing surfaces which are blemish free in bright daylight. Under the glare of a halogen bulb several only an iridescent rainbow shine is visible. Truly an incredible example.


Audio: EXCELLENT +

As is evident from the recordings, this vinyl has been played cautiously on good quality equipment. There are quiet lead-ins to both sides. If not for a little static during 'Let it Be' (clearly has seen the most play) I would confidently grade Mint-. There is no noise in between tracks. There is great channel separation. The audio is distinct and dynamic. It would be very difficult to find a better audio experience. 


BOX, BOOK & POSTER: EXCELLENT +
The outer box is very clean with a gloss finish. The cover art shows a deep full colour. Subtle rubbing is visible to the corners. The inner trays are in great condition. The book looks great. All pages are present and to attached to the spine. 
Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The sleeve looks fantastic. Both the front and rear retain a glossy lustre with bright colours. The corners are sharp. The spine is without wear. If not for a small section of laminate lift to the top edge of the rear I would confidently grade MINT-.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The original inner sleeve looks great. It is without staining or discolouration and shows only minimal ring wear.  Also included in the sale is an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic record. 

The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
