THE RARITY OF THIS 45:- The Beatles released their first two 45s on the Red Parlophone label. Both are very VERY sought after indeed! And this one was The Beatles first 45 EVER! This 45 sold VERY poorly compared to their later 45s and didn't get anyone near the top 10! As a result, 1st Pressings with clean unwritten labels are now very VERY hard to find indeed! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES ALL TIME RAREST 45s EVER, AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND NOW!
THE MYTH ABOUT THE 'GREAT BRITAIN' LABEL CREDIT:- To sell certain copies of this 45 at a higher price, some people have blatantly LIED about the 'Made In Gt Britain' credit on the labels. Copies of this 45 exist with 1G/1G stampers with NO credit, and copies exist with MUCH later stampers - WITH the credit! And vice versa! SO THE TRUTH OF THIS 'GREAT BRITAIN' CREDIT IS - THAT IS COMPLETELY RANDOM THROUGHOUT THE 1ST PRESSING RUN (BOTH LATER AND EARLIER STAMPERS EXIST WITH BOTH CREDITS!) AND MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL TO THE RARITY OF THIS 45 (COPIES WITH & WITHOUT THE CREDIT HAVE THE SAME RARITY!)!

LABELS:- EX - NO WRITING, NO TEARS, NO STICKERS, NO IMPRESSIONS - ONLY SOME VERY MINOR 'TEXTURISATION', AND ONLY THE TINIEST TOUCH OF WEAR AROUND THE CENTRE HOLES! A BRILLIANT SET OF LABELS!
RECORD GRADING:- The record is in GREAT condition! Even under light the record looks BRILLIANT and JET BLACK! It has NO scratches, only few VERY light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light! The record plays with NO skips, NO jumps, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO groovewear, NO distortion, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL! The record must EASILY grade VG+ if not better! It plays BRILLIANTLY and looks GREAT - and is undoubtedly a very VERY nice record indeed!
COMPANY SLEEVE:- Original 1st Press 'Wavy Lined' Parlophone Company Sleeve in BRILLIANT condition - with NO edge splits, NO rips, NO tears, NO centre hole splits, only 1 small 'age trace', and NO writing! This company sleeve is NOT a re-pro (100% GENIUNE 1st Press!) and must grade VG++++ if not better!
