I have been Collecting Beatles Records & Original Memorabilia for over 48 YEARS,  Due to my continued Poor health I have reluctantly decided to sell various quality records from My Collection
 All my offerings will be mostly UPGRADE QUALITY  and FIRST PRESSINGS           And are offered with  an AUDIO REPORT after a very careful play of the entire disc.
I will only be listing ONE or TWO quality records at a time.
My Gradings are very STRICTLY IN LINE WITH THE RECORD COLLECTORS GUIDE.
All Photographs are of the actual items being offered.
NOTE ; The couple of white specs that can be seen on the Side 2 label are DUST SPECS               and ARE NOT on the actual label.

In my opinion this is one of the ( If not the finest ) examples of this the rarest variant of the boys final 4 track EP, This copy was pressed by ‘ PYE ‘  Records. It was the only Beatles EP to be pressed by another company other than E.M.I. To find a ‘ PYE ‘ Contract pressing of this EP is rare in any condition, but to find one in this NEAR MINT, condition is nigh on impossible and it will indubitably appeal to the Serious Beatles Collector. It will be a valuable addition to any Beatles Collection.

Mothers / Stampers ;       5 C,   5 C,     ( The number is stamped & the stamper is hand etched )
The KT Tax Code is inverted in the dead wax at the 12 ‘o’ clock position on both sides.
Both labels carry the ‘ Sold in the UK ….’ Text and have ‘ The Gramaphone Co Ltd..’ worded rim Text 
Plus the label error  ‘Beatles Golden Discs ‘ instead of ‘Beatles Million Sellers ‘
Note ; The ‘ PYE ‘  Contract Pressings are identifiable by the small inner ridge which is approx 2.5 mm from the edge of the push out centre attachments or approx 10 mm from the centre hole. There is also a very very narrow outer ridge which  is only visible around the extreme edge rim of the push  out section where the stars join the inner centre of the push out section. The gap between the push out centre and the main body if the disc is approx 2,25 mm. These features are consistent with all ‘ PYE ‘ Pressings along with the hand etched stampers which Are to be found beneath the stamped mothers on the left hand side of the deadwax.

CONDITION ; 

DISC ;     LABELS,
Both labels are in SUPERB Condition , all the silver & yellow Text & numbering is in PERFECT Condition, just as crisp & fresh as the day it was pressed. The black label background Is also SUPERB apart from one darker black line to the centre of the side one label, ( This was on the disc when I purchased it new ) it is only visible when the disc is held at an angle in strong light  Under my Double Halogen Lamp I could detect just a very few small spindle trails and virtually NO spindle hole  wear whatsoever. Inside the spindle hole still retains virtually all of it's original black colour. . GRADED AS ;        EX+,   MINT -.

DISC,      VISUAL,
Both sides of the disc still retain their SUPERB original deep black sheen with mirror like Surfaces. When viewed under my Double Halogen Lamp there are just a very few fine wispy  hairlines which are consistent with the removal & replacement of the disc from it’s sleeve.

AUDIO ;
As you would expect from a disc of this condition  the Audio was Absolutely Superb. During one very careful play of both sides I could detect NO background or surface Interference throughout all tracks . ( Which is in keeping with me only ever playing this disc a handful of times from new ). Remarkable for an EP of 48 years old.

SLEEVE ;
There is little that I can say about this sleeve save to say that in 48 years of collecting Beatles Records  I have never seen a better example for sale. The Sleeve Photographs speak for themselves, it is Simply Superb, In my opinion the only way to improve on the condition of this lovely sleeve would be to find a copy that was still factory sealed.

This is truly a superb example of this very rare variant of this EP.
It is an Excellent Investment for any Serious Beatles Collector., that can only appreciate In value.
