*** Once upon a time, I worked in a museum. So I know quite a bit about collections stewardship and preservation. All rare Beatles records I will be listing on ebay over the next few weeks come from my personal, meticulously tended private collection maintained in quiet, light-controlled, climate controlled archival-type setting in a clean, pet-free, smoke-free home. ***
It is highly likely you won't see many other Beatles releases here on ebay as clean and impeccable as those I am currently offering. They all follow, strictly to the letter, the condition reports I prepare, and more – and they are all guaranteed to be just as nice as anything you will see offered by high profile sellers like Perry Cox and Parlogram. How do I know this? Because I bought my stuff from them, and have given all of it the white-glove treatment ever since.

There can't possibly be many of these left – an original 1967 Beatles Magical Mystery Tour U.S. Capitol LP in glorious MONO – still FACTORY SEALED, 51 years after it left the factory.
I purchased this record from the one and only Perry Cox in 2009 – and as you can see in the photos, the record includes his signed Letter of Authenticity.

CONDITION REPORT
Overall, the record is in fantastic condition for its age. There are no outward signs of mishandling or improper storage at any time in its long life.
The volume lays perfectly flat and the text on the spine is nicely centered.
The factory shrinkwrap exhibits three "breathe holes" – one on the front, in the lower right corner of the image of John, Paul, George and Ringo in their costumes (just above the "k" in the words "picture book"), and two on the back very close to the top seam.
The shrinkwrap is still tight all the way around, however there are some minor breaks in the shrinkwrap, as follows:
- one break approx. 2 inches (?5 cm) and another break approx .5 inch (?1.3 cm) at the front, top right
- one break at the top right corner on the back, approx. 1.5 inches (?3.8 cm)
- one break on the back, lower left quadrant, approx. 1.25 inches (?3.2 cm)
Both the spine and the white perimeter on the front and back (between the edges and the album slick) exhibit some mild foxing. This is typical for a volume this old, and the foxing is not extensive or offensive.
The lower left corner (front view) has a very mild ding which can be plainly seen in the photographs. The other three corners are straight and sharp.
All the flaws detailed above do not detract from the aesthetics and the beauty of this rare volume, so remarkable in this condition.
