Description
SMAL 2835 One of the finest pieces of vinyl I have ever heard. It certainly ranks in the top 3 among thousands of records. Fantastic tone and extremely low noise. The attached booklet is extremely nice.
I am finally selling this exhibition quality collection of Beatles. Please contact me if you need combined shipping adjustments with other LP's.
I have NO cutouts/bargain bins/club editions.
These records come from my home collection and have mostly sat on the shelf untouched for decades. They are generally very clean and have always been played on high-end equipment. Most LP's were archived onto tape for my use when they were new. I am not a collector/dealer, I'm an electronics tech. I'll give you the most accurate info that I have, particularly on sound as that's what I'm equipped to do. I listen to albums & use an oscilloscope to verify quality. I keep the scans/details/fotos on file: undamaged returns are no problem. I post oversize fotos to show both quality and flaws.
GOLDMINE STANDARDS ARE USED HERE as well as SOUND TESTING. All records - even new ones - have unwanted marks (including spots from chemical release agents and abrasion from packaging) and some sounds by way of the manufacturing. I use the variation within grades to describe the sound quality of vinyl.
* NM grade has no marks other than typical ones from the factory: chemical release agents (cloudiness) and faint paper abrasion from packaging. Jackets are like what comes from the record store, which are usually close to perfect and may only have very slight corner bumps or wrinkles from store handling
· EXC and EXC+ grades (same as VG+ and VG++ by Goldmine definition) are wonderful. Insignificant marks can be present. Covers & inks are 98% and 99% intact, and these jackets deserve to be framed (something I do a lot of). As a personal note, I’m not giving the “EXC or EXC+ grades to any thing that doesn’t test and sound hands-down excellent. I use VG+ for great looking, good sounding vinyl that has a lower signal/noise ratio and jackets with minimal wear to ink and gloss, but will still look great framed.
