BEATLES NEAR MINT WEST COAST PICTURE SLEEVE “TICKET TO RIDE” 1965 + EX COND 45
Of the 19 Capitol singles released by The Beatles, the picture sleeve for “Ticket to Ride” / “Yes It Is” is, in my opinion, right up there in the Top Three of value, preceded only by “Can’t Buy Me Love” and “I’ll Cry Instead,” and followed closely by “And I Love Her.”
And this “Ticket to Ride” sleeve is a sensational one! It’s the much sought-after WEST COAST version, with the die-cut tab insert.
It looks great and has strong seams. But what’s more important is what it DOESN’T HAVE: no names, no labels, no scrapes, no ringwear—no nothing but what The Beatles intended.
And with it comes a 45 that’s as clean as they come! The A-Side is Near Mint. The flip side has a bit of ringwear. By the way, John Lennon often said that “Yes It Is” was one of their most underrated recordings. We’ll let it go at that.
