THE WHITE ALBUM

1968 UK STEREO APPLE PCS.7067-8

YEX 709-1 YEX 710-1

YEX 711-1 YEX 712-1

Here is a superb barely played numbered uk copy of the the classic 1968 'Beatles' double 'White Album'. This very nice copy comes with the original four glossy photo prints and also the very large folded poster/lyric insert. Both albums are immaculate and have only ever had just a few careful plays since new, they look as close to mint as you will find and all four sides play and sound superb throughout. The fully laminated numbered 'Garrod & Lofthouse' side-opening gatefold cover is in excellent clean and tidy condition. The four glossy photo prints are just about perfect and the very large folded lyric/poster is in very good condition. This really is a brilliant uk stereo issue that will definitely not disappoint in any way.

2 X STEREO VINYL'S = NEAR MINT

Both albums have that immaculate just pressed look, all four sides have a brilliant original sheen that show barely any signs of play, even when studied closely you will not find any more than a couple of very hard to spot wispy top surface hairlines. Both vinyl's have been very well looked after indeed and have always been treated with great care so there really are no bad marks, scuffs or scratches at all. These albums have been rarely played, and when they have it was only on good quality equipment so there is no lessoning in the sound quality, all tracks play and sound superb throughout with just very tiny amounts of occasional very light background crackle, as there are no bad surface marks so there are no loud clicks or pops and no annoying loud crackle. Both albums really do look, play and sound very near perfect and so will definitely not disappoint in any way.

STEREO APPLE LABELS = NEAR MINT

All four labels are in near mint condition and still look as good as new. There are no marks or signs of wear, there are also barely any visible spindle traces, this is a good indication that these albums have been barely played at all.

GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FULLY LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER = EX

The numbered side-opening fully laminated gatefold cover was made and printed in the uk by 'Garrod & Lofthouse international Ltd'. This cover is nice and clean with minimal signs of age/wear and creasing and so grades excellent. The front/back and inside lamination is still very glossy and reflective, there are just a couple of small light creases along the front spine and just a couple more tiny ones along the front bottom edge, the back lamination is near perfect, the inside lamination looks almost flawless apart from a very narrow band right near the right top edge where there is actually no lamination, this is due to a very minor printing error where the laminate did not quite cover entire inside right panel, this really is very minor and many would not even mention it. The top and bottom edges are excellent and straight with no noticeable wear. The spine is also in great shape with no wear, both the mono and stereo codes are printed and all text very clear and easy to read. This gatefold cover still looks superb and has no nasty faults at all.

WHITE POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVES = NEAR MINT

The vinyl's originally came in plain white paper inner sleeves, but these were quickly changed for more vinyl friendly white poly-lined inners to reduce sleeve withdrawal traces, both inners are in excellent very clean condition with no splits.

4 X GLOSSY PHOTO PRINTS = NEAR MINT

All four photo prints are in near mint condition and look just about perfect. They are all nice and clean and lie flat, there are no marks or creases at all and as they have never been hung on a wall so there are no pin holes or tape marks. These prints really are superb and cannot be faulted.

LARGE FOLDED LYRIC/PICTURE POSTER = VERY GOOD+

The very large folded picture and lyric poster insert is in great condition. There is some light creasing/crumpling but it's still clean with no rips and no signs of being hung.
