Description

 Magical Mystery Tour and other Splendid Hits -  original New Zealand 1969 APPLE label

This  LP is unique to New Zealand and was released in October 1969. It was released with a Parlophone catalogue number (again unique to New Zealand - the 6000 series was allocated for New Zealand) BUT released with an Apple label!

The stampers were obtained from the Capitol's Scranton pressing plant in the US.(SMAL 1-2835 B24 , SMAL 2-2835-A23 #4) 

It is featured on page 152 of 'The Beatles in New Zealand...a discography' where more information can be found.
