"The Beatles On Compact Disc" Catalogue No HMV BEACD 25/2, Numbered 12 inch red box set with reprint insert and reprint of Beatles Book Monthly Issue 12. The three are CDs are "Help", "Rubber Soul" and "Revolver". Original first ever release of these Beatles albums on CD in 1987 in a limited edition of 5000. This item is No 4477
What makes this item unique and collectible is that it was the first time these Beatles albums were issued on the then new compact disc format in 1987. This moment was eagerly anticipated by Beatles music lovers. This red box CD set was the companion release to the Beatles CD box set 25/1 which was coloured black and contained the preceeding four Beatles albums.
The item is complete and intact with the Beatles Book Monthly No 12 and a spliced reprint of the insert. The CDs are in excellent condition and have been play tested. The box lid has usage/shelf scuffs consistent with its 30 year age. There are NO tears or damage to the rest of the item. A good condition used example.
