Description
This is the original UK LP by the BEATLES, PLEASE PLEASE ME, STEREO, on the PARLOPHONE EMI 'ONE' BOX label PCS 3042, these were ONLY pressed in 1969, this is the transistional label immediately after the black and yellow Parlophone label and BEFORE the 1970's 'TWO' boxed EMI label, VERY RARE, pressed in very limited numbers, and pressed from the original Master tapes, the LP is complete with the correct Garrod and Lofhouse flipback cover with a small 'Stereo' on the front and with the correct 1969 EMI inner sleeve. The label has the the "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" rim credit on the label's, with NO "Sold in the UK" label credits. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- YEX 94-1, SIDE 2:- YEX 95-1, EMI stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 2 / 00, SIDE 2:- 1 / 0G.
The small 'Stereo' Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover is in VG+++/EX condition, their is no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, the back, top right flipback has been carefully repaired and is intact, their is a very very small bit of damage to the front, right hand side opening edge, near the bottom, the cover is lovely and clean and crisp, maintaing all it's original bright vibrant colours on the front, and lovey and white on the back, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable.
The vinyl is in a STUNNING MINT- condition, and looks to be incredabley UNPLAYED!, the vinyl mainatins all it's original shine and lustre, BEAUTIFUL condition!.
The label's are MINT!!!!!, lovely and clean and crisp, their is no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, the spindal hole is tight and crisp, NO WEAR, NO SPIDER MARKS around the spindal hole, STUNNING label's!!!!!!!!!.
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1969 EMI inner sleeve and in MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing and no seam splits, BEAUTIFUL condition!.
Altogether a SUPERB copy of this RARE UK original LP, 1969 STEREO pressing by the BEATLES, PLEASE PLEASE ME, with the 'ONE' Box PARLOPHONE EMI label, which were ONLY PRESSED IN 1969 in very limited quanities.
