Description
This is a thick heavy vinyl original '67 U.S. lp on flat black with silver print CAPITOL Rainbow label #MAS-2653, called: SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, THE BEATLES. There are 13 songs (see close up pics of labels for titles). Stamped in trail off is a triangle with IAM inside. etched is : Side two MAS-2-2653-F1. Side one has MAS stamped. Cover is a thick cardboard gatefold in nice condition with only light wear, it has strong seams and spine, with perfect spine print, seams and spine are strong with NO splits, flaking or wear. Cover closes even and is not flattened, there are No bent or pushed in corners, stains, fading, cut corners, punch holes, saw cuts, rivets, stickers, writing, etc. I only noticed very light wear. The red/pink psych inner sleeve is in nice condition with only one tiny bottom center split, no other splits, folds, tears, stains, fading, etc. if you look closely at this sleeve you will see that the ink has a slight defect from the printing process. The thin cardboard cut out insert is in near pristine condition, the lp has very nice labels No spindle marks, stains, wear, stickers, writing, fading, etc. Playing surfaces have a deep mirror gloss shine with No scratches, defects, warps, groove wear, stains, etc. Under close inspection I noticed only a small handful of light surface scuffs that do not affect play. These original Capitol lps sound beautiful, I listed to excerpts they sounded clean and clear wtih No distortion, skips or annoying background noise. Glad I could make this late mono Beatles lp available in such nice CONDITION: COVER VG + + + / LP NM - / INSERTS NM - . This lp is guaranteed to be an original
