Picture Sleeve
Up for auction is this 7" Beatles Picture Sleeve: She Loves You / I'll Get You, catalog # S-4152 issued on Swan Records.
This scarce early Beatles single was issued in January 1964, BEFORE the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and BEFORE Beatlemania really kicked into high gear. !
This auction is for the sleeve only.
The sleeve is in very nice condition. The sleeve has virtually no ring wear. The surfaces are generally smooth and crisp. The corners are all in nice condition. There's NO writing and NO stickers on the sleeve. There are no tears along the top edge and there are no seam splits. There are a couple of tiny tears that are barely visible. On the front just below Paul's right foot there are two tiny torn areas and on the back side near the Y in You, there is a small puncture wound. These tiny blemishes probably keep this sleeve from grading NM or NM-. This sleeve probably conservatively grades VG+ or about a 70 on a 100 point scale.
I will start the bidding at $34.99 which is a great starting price for this very high quality and highly desirable EARLY Beatles collectible.
For you investment minded collectors, Beatles collectibles have a proven track record as solid investments. Demand for quality Beatles products has remained consistently high over several decades and price guide values reflect that demand.
For example, the 1987 Perry Cox/Michael Miller Beatles price guide values this sleeve at $30 in NM and at $15 VG condition. The 2007 Perry Cox/Frank Daniels price guide says it is worth $200 in NM and $50 in VG condition. That's about a 550% increase in NM and about a 230% increase in VG condition, over a 20 year period.

I will ship internationally using USPS First Class mail IF that is an option. USPS International Priority Mail is another option, but it is much more expensive.
