Format - 12" Vinyl LP

Label/Cat.no. - Parlophone PMC1202

Year - 1963


Condition: The vinyl is somewhere between G+ and VG. There are many marks on both sides of the vinyl, but nothing too serious, and it does play through with some crackle. This is a genuine first pressing, with the Dick James credits. The matrices are XEX421-1N / XEX422-1N, and the stampers read R1/A1. The labels are certainly in VG condition, as can be seen in the pics.
The outer sleeve is in G+ condition, taped all around the outside (possibly unnecessarily), and with a green ink initial on the rear. It seems to be the correct sleeve, as it's an Ernest J Day sleeve, and the Angus McBean wording is in the right place. The spine is still fully readable (see final pic), and the sleeve may be salvageable if you could manage to remove the tape and clean it up a bit. If that doesn't work, it should be pretty straightforward to get hold of a better sleeve.

All in all, this is NOT an archive or final upgrade copy, but it should present an opportunity to obtain a black and gold labelled copy at a decent price.
