BEATLES~PLEASE PLEASE ME~1963 UK 14-TRACK STEREO VINYL LP RECORD (YEX 94-1/95-1). Condition is Used.
DESCRIPTION: 14-track stereo vinyl LP on black Parlophone label with yellow logo and silver text, flipback picture sleeve complete with inner bag. The 'All rights of the manufacturer' message around the rim starts with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd'. If there had been the gramophone Co. Ltd then it would have been pressed in 65. The labels have 'Made in Great Britain' (at 6 o'clock) and both labels have 'Recording first published 1963' (at 9 o'clock) but they do not have the 'Sold in the U.K.' statement. The word Stereo on the front of the sleeve is larger than later editions. The rear of the sleeve has angled flipback corners on the spine and straight cut on the opening edge. There is no 'MT' on either label and if 'MT' was the UK tax code for 1st January to 1st July 1963, then one must assume that this is a later pressing but because the 'Sold in the U.K.' text is not on the labels, it must date from before February 1964
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The sleeve has no edge wear top and bottom, spine is nice and clean and intact. See pictures.
There is a rip across the front of the sleeve which has been repaired with sellotape at some point.and some creases See pictures.The flipback rear of the sleeve has some discoloration not unusual for a record of this age. The inner bag has some creasing with tears. The record has several light marks and hairline scratches.but the record overall is nice and shine. I have played the record all the way through 3 or 4 times with no Skips or jumps sounds is clear there is surface noise and the occasional light click you come here in The quiet moments and in between tracks but nothing intrusive and on the whole the sound quality really is very good.
I will only send overseas if you can use the EBay global shipping program.
All records will be sent in my over engineered cardboard mailers with two stiffness and then shrink wrapped The record will never move inside.
