Label- Parlophone
Cat- PMC 1202
Original UK Mono pressing, on the illusive Black and Gold Parlophone labels. Matrix numbers XEX 421-1N, XEX 422-1N, 1O 1M stampers. Housed in the correctly alligned Angus Mcbean sleeve.
Condition
Record- Lots of surface marks, in varying degrees, some longer hairlines, with occasional feelable marks noticed. Visually appears around GOOD. Despite the noticeable marks nothing appears too heavy. I have had this record professionally cleaned and I am please to report that the audio grading is fantastic considering the visual grading, some background surface marsk in places, more noticeable in run ins and outs, in between tracks, there was one very small jump during PS I Love You, this is very small and is the only occurance. Beyond this it played through with very little issue or heavy audible issue, audio grading a solid high Very Good.
Sleeve- Original Angus Mcbean allignment. The sleeve has been repaired with areas of restoration, including reinforced hinges edges, and touch up, the spine has been repaired also, the edges have the usual storage wear, handling creases and staining, laminate wear, corner rounding and marks. The sleeve is again Good to Fair as a result of the repairs but presents quite well all things considered.
Thi is an iconic record that will no doubt not be for the purist collector, but represents a fab oppurtunity for someone to get a copy at a no doubt lower price. One thing to please note I would advise any potnetial bidder to examime the detailed photo gallery for a full visual of the condition record and sleeve and PLEASE PLEASE dont expect this record to be in better condition than I have said it is.
