Description

On offer here is a very rare LP, by The Beatles called 'Please Please Me' 1963 first y/b label UK pressing!!!! HOWEVER THIS IS ONE OF RAREST COPIES OF THIS LP YOU WILL EVER SEE !!!! IT IS A 100% GENIUNE 'Please Please Me' pressing on the Yellow and Black label WITH the Extra 33 1/3!!!! AND IT IS mono!!!! - AND CONSIDERING THE TRUE RARITY OF THIS RECORD - IT IS QUITE POSSIBLY THE BEST CONDITIONED COPY OF THIS MEGA RARE PRESSING LEFT IN EXISTENCE!!!! This is a true rarity!!!! This is MUCH harder to locate than even a Black & Gold Stereo Pressing!!!! IN FACT UP TILL 2/3 YEARS AGO - THESE WERE NOT THOUGHT TO EXIST!!!! IT HAS BEEN ESTIMATED THAT LESS THAN 500 OF THESE WERE EVER PRESSED - AND YOU CAN BE SURE YOU ARE VERY UNLIKELY TO EVER HAVE THE CHANCE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER COPY!!!! Basically the EXTRA (tiny) 33 1/3 was a MISTAKE left over from the Black and Gold labels - and is located towards the left of the centre hole in my pictures. However the new (at the time) Yellow & Black labels already had a large '33 1/3' above the Yellow 'Parlophone'. EMI quickly realised the mistake and corrected it within 1 day. However 99% of the 'mistakes' were pressed in MONO - INCREDIBLY rare!!!! This pressing with the 'Extra 33 1/3' was pressed directly AFTER the Black & Gold run ended and is the EARLIEST of ANY Yellow and Black labels!!!! The labels feature (aswell as the VERY rare Extra 33 1/3) the Parlophone Co. Ltd credit on the label edge (see pictures), but do not carry the 'Recording First Published 1963' credit. THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST EVER BEATLES RECORDS YOU WILL EVER FIND UP FOR AUCTION!!!! I CANNOT OVERSTATE HOW RARE IT TRULY IS TO FIND THIS MEGA RARE VARIATION !!!! DO NOT MISS THIS CHANCE - YOU SIMPLY WONT GET ANOTHER!!!

please note as seen earlier on ebay, i also have the much rarer one of a kind original 1963 mule/ cross breed please please me lp!!! please look in my other items in the next few days!!!!

also note it would have been a lot easier to have placed this rare lp in a fourth pressing sleeve in much better condition but as i'm a big beleiver in originality i have kept everything in this auction as you would have found it in 1963.

please please me, pmc 1202, first black and yellow label, with "the parlophone co ltd" rim text, no "recording first published" 1963 text, with the EXTRA SMALL "33 1/3" text, rare early "ZMT " tax code, run out groove codes xex-421/ xex-422, early mother stampers side 1 3 oclock "RA" and 9 oclock "1" side 2 3 oclock "RG" and 9 oclock "1" indicating first pressing on the yellow and black label The vinyl still retains a fantastic sheen with that (just pressed ) look !!!!! must grade VERY GOOD PLUS at least, has the usual whispy marks caused by the record being removed from the sleeve, and some (not many) haireline marks, if not for these this lp would grade at least excellent...............within the play list there are NO jumps, NO skips, NO repeats and NO decernable clicks, NO visable groove wear and 100% flat, NO dishing and NO warping, its as simple as that, the vocals are strong and clear but does have mild to medium static over 2/3 songs but nothing that over powers the lp in anyway!!!!............. the outer is made by ernest j.day and is the much rarer gold first pressing sleeve with the angus mcbean text much closer to the bottom edge ( where it belongs), it does have a large yellow patch where old sellotape has been removed, some damage to top and bottom flipbacks, but the edges and the spine are in excellent condition with a little corner wear!!!.................labels are as seen on pics!!!!!.......the inner sleeve is the much rarer 1st pressing emitex clear windowed poly lined inner and is in very good condition with a little discolouration one or two small tears and some creasing!!

again its a mega rare item, less pressed and rarer than even the much sort after gold stereo please please me and if you don't bid you could miss out on one rarest lps ever seen by the beatles
