Both sides of the vinyl have a lot of light marks and the a-side has one mark which looks a little heavier. However, both sides play through absolutely fine with no jumps or sticks, and just a light crackle audible over some of the quieter passages. The a-side in particular sounds great – it is surprising, coming back to this, how raw and unpolished the Beatles were at this stage of their career. I would gauge both sides as VG.
There are a couple of slight blemishes to the a-side RED label, which has also faded a little – this is clearly visible in the photo, but there is no writing, stickers or tape on either of the labels.
It comes with an appropriate Parlophone label sleeve.

This is an early first pressing with the rarer labels which do not have the “Made in Gt Britain” text found on so many red label copies of this single.
The matrices are 7XCE 17217-1N and 7XCE17218-1N
Tax codes/Stampers – (a-side) MPT2 and (b-side) PT1at 9 o’clock and the letter “L” at 3 o’clock on both sides. I can find no trace of any tax codes embossed on the labels.
