RARE copy of this much sought after FIRST UK Beatle album released in 1963!
Hard to find in any condition!
This is the 4th pressing first released in the summer of 1963 with black label and yellow logo and silver print. "The Parlophone Co. Ltd." is printed at the start perimeter print and "Recording first published 1963" at the 9 o'clock position.
Correct original sleeve with Angus McBean credit starting at the end of g in songs.
Sleeve: G+ WELL WORN but cool example of a 1963 laminated original cover! Front and spine are in better condition than the back with some creasing and overall wear throughout especially on the corners. Back cover has tape on top and bottom of the flipback with soiling and some writing and underlying with pen.
Record: Side 1 visually G+ but plays VG. Plays well throughout with surface noise in quieter parts and occasional pops. There are no skips or loops. Side 2 visually is G+. Plays VG There are a few deeper scratches that add to the surface noise. I had one skip that self corrected on Track 3.
Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 421-1N; Side 2: XEX 422-1N.
Nice chance to own and enjoy an original UK Beatle classic! Probably the only one you'll find at this price point!
